We started bia with the belief that no woman should shy away from their hair loss or hair struggles; hair loss is normal and so is treating it. We know first hand just how much hair issues can affect our self esteem and ultimately our happiness. So, we set out with the mission to create a hair care brand that not only creates effective products, but one that is dedicated to destigmatising hair loss and empowering women to feel more confident. Hair loss affects more than 50% of women, so we’re here to talk about hair loss without shame and to let you know that you’re not alone.

For us, it’s personal. Our founder Imane knows all too well the struggles presented by hair loss...

“At 19 I started losing my long, thick beautiful hair. I was devastated. I turned to my doctor who prescribed me with Minoxidil which only made my scalp itch (luckily I didn’t get any of the other side effects). From that point onwards, I read every research and clinical study I could find on hair loss.
